My acting career has just begun although I've been in a few films as an extra and had a tiny role in a pilot throughout the years. My desire for acting started when I was a teen when film & tv class forced us to portray roles that take you out of your comfort zone, like a news caster or an alcoholic. To be someone else and to indulge the role took me by surprise when I realized I really liked it. After experiencing that a few times and eventually writing roles after research, I had a better appreciation for the actors I loved so much and their talents. As I mentioned, I played extras before, cops, an abusive boyfriend, and even a construction worker with absolutely no lines, but it pales in comparison to having a supporting or lead role, like the brave men and women that do this for a living. This is something I truly desire and know I can do. I practice using monologues I find on the web and I pay close attention more than ever whenever I watch movies, shows or plays these days. I think I like villainous roles and roles involving witty protagonists. We will see what the future holds.
