THE VOICE ACTOR

Voice acting is that one thing many people take for granted, especially when watching a documentary or an animation. It's one of the most important pillars in stabilizing your interest in a film. Without voice acting you are truly left to your own set of ideas of how dialogue and images are portrayed, and many times, it could be the wrong tone in which a film or scene was designed to project. This is my belief. In my life as I produced animations and short films, in one way or the other I've found myself needing that voice to help move my productions along accurately. Many times, I've only had me as the writer, director, actor and narrator. These times forced me to be versatile in voice range to make a believer out of the viewer that each time you heard me, you didn't realize it was me still. It's not easy, but it's definitely fun and a learning experience each time. To better myself, I've taken voice courses, and most recently earned my Voice Over Masterclass Certificate (instructor Peter Baker) in 2020. I've dived right back into learning by signing up for yet another course.

I recently opened an account with Soundcloud so that others could check me out. If interested, you can take a listen by putting M. Roc Perine in the Soundcloud.com search. Or click here https://soundcloud.com/m-roc-perine
